Simien Mountain DISCO

Super chef Mary-Ellen trained with Heston Blumenthal, ran an award-laden restaurant (The Aumbry) and is now head honcho at the Real Junk Food Project. She's teamed up with her friends from Meltdown, Drunk at Vogue, Manchester Wire and more to host this fundraising party with a difference.

Join Ruth Allan and Mary-Ellen McTague, with the kind and able assistance of magnificent party people Greg Thorpe (Off The Hook, Drunk at Vogue) and Hannah Thomas (Meltdown the River), for an ALL DAY DISCO PARTY.
Chef Mary-Ellen McTague (The Real Junk Food Project) and Ruth Allan from Mcr listings site Manchester Wire will be taking part in a sponsored trek through the Simien Mountains in October to raise money for Action Against Hunger.  The charity works to save the lives of malnourished children and provide their families with access to clean water and good nutrition.
