Silkscreen Printing for Beginners

SO YOU WANT TO LEARN HOW TO SCREEN PRINT?

Would you like to screen print your own images onto a t-shirt, a tote, a cushion cover, or anything you like?

We are offering a 1-day beginners’ silkscreen printing course at our South London workshop

You will work in a small group of no more than 4 which means you will get lots of individual attention

YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO:

Prepare your fabric for printing

Mix simple water-based pigments and choose appropriate binders for your fabric

Screen print using an open screen, paper stencils and your own image

YOU WILL GET:

Tuition and guidance in a class of no more than 4

Your own image exposed onto a silk screen (print area 42x60cm) for your use during the day

Calico and paper to test and experiment with

All the inks and binders that you use during the day

When you enrol you will receive a factsheet with full information on what to bring to the class
