At our Silent Book Club Meetup, there's no pressure to finish a book or participate in discussions. It's all about finding your own reading rhythm and enjoying the company of fellow book lovers. Bring your favorite book, grab a seat, and dive into your own world of words.
Located on Monticello Avenue in Jersey City, Baonanas has an inviting garden with lighting and seating for the ultimate summer reading vibes! Bring a blanket or grab a chair, and unwind and escape into the pages of a good book.
Baonanas offers a wonderful variety of beverages, Pan De Bao Sliders, and delicios banana pudding for you to enjoy while we read and socialize.

Yes, Book Haven Books brings a small selection of books to browse for those who decide to not bring a book from home & buy one the day of the event. However, there is no pressure to buy books, Silent Book Club is a community centered event designed to create a space for you to relax and read.
Silent Book Club is a free event, and open to anyone to attend. Space is limited which is why we ask you to RSVP. If you register for the event, and realize that you can no longer attend, we kindly ask you to reach out to cancel so we can pass your space to someone on the waitlist.
Content of the event will be recorded for use on social media. However, if you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please let us know the day of the event and we will make sure to adhere to your wishes.
