6:00pm-6:45pm: Arrive at The Space, order drinks from any of the downstairs restaurants (Baja Grill, Revival, Koffee with a Kause), share what you're reading, and Blind Date Book Exchange (If you want to participate, bring a used, wrapped book with a brief description written or taped on the front.)

6:45pm-7:45pm: Quiet Reading Hour upstairs at The Space

7:45pm-8:45pm: Optional socializing or just keep reading. Listening to live music from the balcony is always an option too.

Frequently asked questions

What if I'm currently not reading a book but want to start? Can I still come?

Yes! Silent Book Club is a great way to get back into reading because you will get plenty of recommendations. And there are always extra books at The Space that you can read during Quiet Reading Hour.

For the Blind Date Book Exchange, does my book have to be wrapped a certain way?

No! As long as the cover/title is covered and a brief description is attached somehow, it doesn't matter. Brown paper, wrapping paper, walmart-sack, old Christmas wrapping paper, a gift bag, an t-shirt, whatever.

I really want to come but don't want to be the only one not drinking...

Everyone is welcome and it's not about what you do or don't order. It's about connecting with local book lovers like yourself.

Is it a girls only club?

No, all genders are welcome :) The only requirement is that you enjoy reading :)
