Overview

Design your own postcards and stamps in this hands-on workshop where art meets history.

Postcards and postage stamps preserve history in miniature. Design your own postcards and stamps in this hands-on workshop where art meets history. Inspired by our latest exhibition, We Make History, participants of all ages will explore how mail carries history and connects communities. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with photographer and author of District Postcard Views, Shedrick Pelt. Pelt’s photo of Gregory “Sugar Bear” Elliot of the Go-Go band Experience Unlimited (EU) is featured in the exhibition. All materials are provided.

This program is in collaboration with the National Postal Museum.
