Siemens LEAP: SINUMERIK CNC Hands-On Certification Training
Come get hands-on training towards 4 Siemens LEAP Certifications: Milling 1+2 & Turning 1+2. Also learn about upcoming 5-Axis CNC training!
The Siemens Lifelong Educational Advantage Program (L.E.A.P.) provides students, educators, and industry professionals with essential-to-advanced CNC machining skills through the industry-leading SINUMERIK platform—widely adopted in high-tech manufacturing for its performance, scalability, and unified training experience. Backed by Siemens' global leadership in industrial controls, this program supports workforce development and upskilling across all levels of experience.
This week-long training will consist of hands-on experience with real Sinumerik ONE-controlled CNC Machines as well as Digital Twin software, via Siemens Run MyVirtual Machine. The training will culminate in achievement of the following Siemens Certifications, if the entire week is completed:
- Level 1: ShopTurn
- Level 1: ShopMill
- Level 2: programGuide for Turning
- Level 2: programGuide for Milling
These certifications are prerequisites for an upcoming, combined Level 3: 5-Axis & High-Speed Milling + Sinumerik Service Training event this fall, which will take place at the Siemens training facility in Elk Grove Village, Chicago, IL.
On the final day of the event, we will demonstrate advanced functionality of the Sinumerik ONE control, to include robotic manufacturing, machine tending, and more! We will additionally showcase the manufacturing digital thread that connects all Siemens hardware and software products seamlessly, enabling the future of manufacturing.
