SIDE-by-SIDE: A Mixed Media Workshop

Join Lauren Ashleigh, local artist and teacher, for a relaxed and inspiring evening of creativity, connection, and play.

In this mixed media class, you and your partner—whether that’s a significant other, best friend, or creative buddy—will each create your own 12x24 canvas. By the end of the night, your pieces will come together to form one cohesive 24x24 artwork that reflects both of your styles and energy.

This class is all about letting go of pressure and embracing the process. You don’t need any prior art experience, just a willingness to explore, experiment, and have fun together.

We’ll be working with a variety of materials including:

• Acrylic paint
• Paper + collage elements
• Oil pastels
• Markers

I’ll guide you through prompts and techniques to help your pieces feel connected, while still giving you the freedom to create something uniquely yours.

• All art materials + canvases
• Light snacks
• Beer and wine (feel free to BYOB or bring your favorite treats!)

• Date: June 23rd, 2026
• Time: 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• Location: 400 W Rich Studio Building
• Capacity: Limited to 6 pairs (12 people total for an intimate experience)

🎟 Tickets:

• $80 per pair (covers both participants)
