We will be joined by:Eli Etzioni, Market Development Manager at <a href="https://tradewater.us/offsetnow/?gclid=CjwKCAiAkp6tBhB5EiwANTCx1FxaJ7eDKFE2nnNCqwiFh4x0SaSCijlhxrptVfY7KS48oAM--kxPbBoCdRUQAvD_BwE" title="https://tradewater.us/offsetnow/?gclid=CjwKCAiAkp6tBhB5EiwANTCx1FxaJ7eDKFE2nnNCqwiFh4x0SaSCijlhxrptVfY7KS48oAM--kxPbBoCdRUQAvD_BwE" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Tradewater</a>, a project developer working to prevent potent greenhouse gases from leaking into our atmosphere, ground water, and land.Eli builds relationships with companies and communities to catalyze support for Tradewater’s work collecting, controlling, and destroying potent non-CO2 gases. He has 5 years of experience in fundraising, first-of-a-kind partnerships, and commercialization of new climate technologies. Prior to Tradewater, he was the first business hire at Symbrosia, a climate-tech startup developing SeaGraze™, a seaweed feed additive to drastically reduce methane emissions in cow burps. Eli’s passion is scaling climate impact and getting people off the sidelines and into the climate movement. He is equal parts climate optimist and outdoor enthusiast. He can often be found thinking about sustainable aquaculture while surfing or pondering climate-friendly transit options while biking. Heather Shrock, Director of Environmental Partnerships, <a href="https://www.b-e-f.org/" title="https://www.b-e-f.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bonneville Environmental Foundation</a>, a nonprofit working on water, carbon, and energy solutions for organizations to address environmental challenges.Heather focuses on developing relationships with all types of entities, including corporations, small businesses, universities, and nonprofits to help them understand their impacts in carbon, water and energy. Heather comes to BEF with a diverse background in sustainability, outreach, marketing and sales. Previously, she was the Portland Regional Manager of the ReDirect Guide, a local green directory, and has served on the boards of Green Drinks PDX and VOIS (Voice for Oregon Innovation and Sustainability). She has also been a professional singer, dancer, public speaker and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. As a Portland native, Heather enjoys the Pacific NW for its many outdoor offerings and an abundance of fantastic food!
