What others say

"For me as leader in global trial forecasting, the courses on developing AI responsibly, taught by Ursula Maria Mayer, are a great resource!
Her in-depth expertise combined with her clear and well-structured teaching style makes the course content easy to understand. I especially like how she illustrates theoretical input with examples that the audience can really relate to.
I particularly benefited from her knowledge of the potential risks of increased bias in decision making and how to prevent or mitigate them. I also very much appreciated her expertise on how to move from pure "black box" AI applications to more comprehensible AI that offers the end customer more insight and thus trust in the results."

Claudia Tilli, PhD - Global Trial Forecast Development Unit Head and Expert/Associate Director, Clinical Trial Budget Management, Novartis

"Ursula Maria Mayer held an excellent, understandable and fascinating masterclass about AI ethics in business at the Rolemodel Rebels think tank platform by highlighting core ethical values, demonstrating current ethical issues with AI and providing solution or mitigation approaches. By providing insights into how ethics can be incorporated throughout the management and development lifecycle of an AI solution, participants were excellently prepared for the implementation of their own AI projects.
The participants were enthusiastic. I can highly recommend Ursula as an excellent didact and speaker."

Dr. Petra Arends-Paltzer - Founder of Davos Digital Forum and Rolemodel Rebels

What we cover in greater detail

This short course provides you with a clear conceptual understanding of the possibilities, but also the limitations of AI and ML. Use cases for business development and strategy will help you further explore the practicality of AI and provide inspiration for your own AI projects.

Ethics and sustainability are now an integral part of the entire AI technology development lifecycle. This short course provides you with an introduction to AI ethics including sustainability and guides you through the processes necessary to develop AI responsibly throughout its lifecycle.

Responsible AI development also helps improve ROI, which is simply also because customers get a better performing AI product or service. Responsibly built AI has the added benefit of preparing you optimally for upcoming AI audits.

Despite an overwhelming enthusiasm for AI, Gartner estimates that more than 85% of all AI projects don't make it to production. This short course will provide you with the key factors you need to successfully develop and deploy your responsible AI projects and deliver real value to you and your customers.
