Live Demo: Mood Through Light (30 mins)


Create two drastically different moods using the same subject Discuss storytelling with light: dramatic vs commercial vs editorial

Hands-On Practice (Group Work) 1 hour


Break into small groups, each group sets up a lighting scenario One model per group (rotate if time allows) Instructor circulates for feedback and troubleshooting

This beginner-to-intermediate workshop is designed to help photographers build confidence in the studio-- whether you’re just getting comfortable with lighting setups or looking to refine your creative direction.

Led by Orlando-based branding photographer Benny Renee( @bennyreneecreates) with @bennyreneestudios , this session will guide you through the foundational lighting techniques, posing, and how to effectively communicate your vision with your sitters. Perfect for those looking to elevate their work by working in a controlled studio environment.

We’ll start the day with a special welcome from the Bellows team, who will be serving up exclusive goodies for attendees! Such as:

  • Camera! ( Film or Digital)
  • Sketchbooks for note taking
  • Props/styling kits for creative direction exercises. Optional
