What is seva?
Selfless service, or seva, is simply defined as selflessly helping others. It is actually said that seva is for yourself, not others, as when you selflessly help others, your negative karmas are being purified and washed. Helping and serving others is actually a wonderful spiritual mechanism to heal and uplift your own soul! If you are feeling depressed, lonely, sad, etc, come join us to uplift and shift!
Seva Day Schedule (You are invited to join anytime in person or online)
5am - We start with a morning meditation with the water and fire elements (in-person and on Zoom).
We give a bath with holy water of a living statue of saint Shirdi Sai Baba as a spiritual mechanism to wash karmas, negativity hindering growth, and blocks to love.
8am - We begin with seva (selfless service) to others (but it is really benefitting yourself).
Please join us in person or wherever you live to do charity work to serve.
For our June 12th Seva Day, we will be upleveling our Hanuman meditation garden and would love to have extra hands. Please feel free to jump in for any part of or for the entire day. If you'd like to join the book club meeting where we discuss our reading or topic of the month at 7:30pm, via zoom, please join us using the Zoom link below.
12noon - 15 minute noon meditation with Shirdi Sai Baba.
Break for lunch; followed by Seva at our center.
6:00pm - Group dinner.
7:30pm - 8:30pm Shirdi Sai Baba Global Services Book Club. We end the day celebrating the teachings of the enlightened masters with a discussion about our reading or topic for the month. This month's subject of knowledge is: Sharing from senior students about how to prepare to see the Divine Mother with your eyes open (darshan). Our core team will gather the knowedge on this subject, that we've been gifted from saint and enlightened master Sri Kaleshwar and shared with us by Soul Doctor Juleannji, and together we will grind and discuss the information we have learned over years to serve your soul!

Volunteer at various soup kitchens, food pantries,
Christmas event at a homeless shelter for women and children,
And more all throughout the Los Angeles area.

About Shirdi Sai Baba:
Shirdi Baba lived his entire life as a beggar, begging alms from the villagers in the tiny town of Shirdi. His simple outward appearance disguised the truth of his spiritual stature. He lived most of his life in a tiny dilapidated mosque with no protection from the heat, rain, and the multitudes who sought relief from their problems and suffering. He chose to live as a beggar, although he could have lived like a king.
Baba was an incarnation of Shiva, and a rare yogi with the highest supernatural capabilities. His yogic feats were endless; he changed water into oil, appeared in many places at once, rescued countless devotees from life-threatening situations, and in his ultimate act of sacrifice, gave up his life to save the life of a beloved devotee. He demonstrated many miracles throughout his life. This phenomenon continues to this day.
Devotion to him is rapidly growing throughout the world among people of all faiths. Although he lived in a mosque, Hindu prayers and rituals were performed. People wondered if he was a Hindu or a Muslim. “So Baba told them one statement, Sri Kaleshwar says, ‘All human beings are one. Our religion is humanity.’ Baba said he was neither Muslim nor Hindu; he was everything. Whoever calls for his help, his protection is there. Who really follows Baba, fear can never touch them. Fear is always away from them. They’re very happy whatever happens. ‘That’s fine. Great. Lovely.’ Like that. Totally surrendered.”
Before leaving his body, Shirdi Baba made a promise to the world that whoever calls on him with faith, he will respond, “I will never forsake anyone who relies on me.”
