ACER is hosting the ShingleCreek Centre Fair 2024. We invite you to apply as a vendor for the event.

Event Details:

*Note there are TWO Shingle Creek Center Fair event dates. You may choose any date that fit best with your availability.

Thursday, Aug 17th, 2024 Time: 4:00pm - 8:45pm (Night Market)

About the event:

A Farmers, Artisans & Entrepreneur Pop-up market experience celebrating the community, local talent and entrepreneurship at the Shingle Creek Centre in Brooklyn Center. In honor of Juneteenth and National Black Business Month, ACER aims to showcase the rich cultural diversity and creativity of local community while providing a platform for local entrepreneurs and artisans to thrive.


What to Expect:

  • Free healthcare screenings and mini clinics for vaccinations.
  • Free community resources, educational materials for various social outcomes
  • At our Farmers & Artisans Market, visitors will discover a vibrant array of local innovators, chefs, crafters, and artisans offering products and experiences specific to our area.
  • From farm-fresh vegetables to specialty foods and handcrafted goods, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
  • Fun games and activities for kids
  • Free and paid food options
  • Live music performances throughout the day, creating a festive atmosphere for all to enjoy.
  • Cultural demonstrations to immerse yourself in the rich traditions of our community with craft and cultural demonstrations, including arts and games.
  • Local delights to explore from local chefs and vendors, showcasing the best of our region's culinary talent.
  • Engage and connect with fellow community members and support local businesses while celebrating the spirit of entrepreneurship and creativity.


Who can apply as a vendor:

  • Community organizations seeking opportunities to share free resources
  • Small Business vendors/Retail stores selling products and/or sharing samples
  • Artisans
  • Farmers selling fresh produce and food
  • Restaurants/ Eateries selling food items

****THIS IS AN APPLICATION OF INTEREST ONLY VENDORS WILL BE SELECTED AND NOTIFIED OF SELECTION.****

  1. You should submit this form to apply for a vendor booth/table
  2. Once you apply, an ACER staff will confirm with you by May 13th about your booth registration.

*Due to Limited vendor space, we are taking applications only for interested community and business vendors and then a selection process will take place.

*Selected Vendors will be required to pay a refundable deposit of $50.00 upon notifications of being a selected vendor. Payment details will be shared with you by an ACER staff after the selection process.

*Once you check-in on the day of the event, your deposit money would be returned to you.

*If you skip participating as a vendor, your money will not be returned.

*If the event is cancelled due to weather or similar factors, we will return your deposit back.

*Cancellation policy: As long as you cancel 2 weeks prior to the event, we can refund 100% of your deposit. To cancel you can contact asasikumar@acerinc.org.


You can apply for a booth as a :

  • Tabling vendor: If you are a organization providing free resources to community
  • Business Vendor If you are a business vendor trying to sell your products.


Logistics:

  • We will be providing vendors with tents, 1 table (6'X30'') and 2 chairs.
  • Vendors can set-up your tables between 9:30am - 10:30am. Opening time is 11:00AM
  • More detailed logistics email will be sent out closer to the event
