Join Us for an Evening of Awareness, Connection, and Impact — October 9, 2025
320 Park Avenue, New York City
We invite you to attend Shine a Light on CDV, an evening dedicated to raising awareness of one of the least known, yet most impactful, major childhood adversities - Childhood Domestic Violence (CDV). When you grow up witnessing domestic violence, that’s called childhood domestic violence. Though very widespread, it remains largely unrecognized - even by those who experienced it.
This gathering offers a meaningful opportunity to learn more about the issue, engage in powerful conversations, and connect with others who care deeply about making a difference. As described by UNICEF, CDV is “one of the most pervasive human rights challenges of our time”.
Guests will enjoy a strolling supper, open bar, and a thoughtfully curated silent auction - including two powerful, original works of art created exclusively for this event: one from a unique artist based in Holland and the other from a talented local artist based in Brooklyn. Each piece is inspired by the theme of overcoming adversity and reclaiming hope.
Whether you're newly discovering this issue or have long been committed to addressing it, your presence helps build the awareness and community needed to ignite change around a silent epidemic with far-reaching effects.
Together, we can shine a light on what much too often remains in the dark - and help those impacted by CDV to reach their full potential.
