Join Reese and Ko for a special Shibari rope tying workshop!This will be a 2 hour Shibari workshop meant as an introduction for singles, couples/partners who are interested in trying something new, practicing better communication and becoming more connected through physical touch.The goal of this class is to create an intentional and mindful approach to the whole body experience of Shibari. We will first talk about safety and communication with yourself and your partner, then we will teach you how to safely and consciously tie yourself or your partner with Japanese Shibari rope-tying techniques.Throughout, we will talk about the importance of learning your body's limitations, how to listen to yourself and your partner with more intimate understanding and how to raise your sensual/physical awareness.Although we encourage partners, all these ties can be practiced on yourself and there is no partner needed to participate in this workshop.- - - One ticket per person - - -In the workshop, you will learn:<ul><li>5-7 different Shibari ties</li><li>How to connect addition rope for extra length</li><li>Safety and communication with yourself and/or your partner</li><li>How to better listen to your body and your partner's body through Shibari practice</li></ul>Every ticket holder will receive a Shibari Swag bag that includes:<ul><li>30" MPN Rope</li><li>Safety shears</li><li>Class overview pamphlet</li><li>Personal aftercare plan</li></ul> DATE: Saturday, April 18thTIME: 12:00pm-2:00pmLOCATION: Melrose Yoga Studio 4113 N 7th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85013 : : : Please consider arriving early to find parking and be ready for our workshop to begin promptly at 12:00pm : : : REQUIREMENTS-Bring a Yoga Mat- Dress in comfortable, form fitting clothes(yoga attire or similar)- All attendees must be 18 or older**Tickets are non-refundable due to limited space.
