Whether you're a seasoned writer or just starting out, this event is perfect for anyone looking to unleash their creativity in a unique setting.Let the mysterious atmosphere of the grotto spark your imagination as we explore the local landmark, then we will head to Sundowners (who have gladly lent us their back room!) for some nautical creative writing exercises that encourage reflection on ancient places and the sea.Don't miss this opportunity to dive into the world of creative writing in a truly magical location!About Emma RobdaleEmma Robdale is a neurodivergent performer, writer and researcher. She is currently undergoing her PhD in Neurodivergent Culture Studies at the University of Kent which incorporates creative writing and performance, and lectured in drama during her time there. She is also writing a novel titled ‘The Casual Case of the Cat in the Headlights’.About MixMatched CICMixMatched CIC is a creative arts organisation based in Kent that mainly operates in Canterbury and Margate. We run a range of events including monthly performance nights and a range of creative workshops. Our events are open to all, but we have a focus on neurodivergent+ inclusivity.
