Develop individualized herd health protocols for your farm with with veterinarian Dr. Dayna Locitzer, DVM.

This workshop is for commercial sheep and goat producers of all kinds (dairy/meat/fiber) who are looking to develop individualized herd health protocols for their farms. Participants will have the opportunity to break up into groups with similar farm operations to create protocols together with guidance from veterinarian Dr. Dayna Locitzer. Examples of such protocols include: lambing/kidding, management of common diseases such as listeria, polio, and pneumonia, and protocols for parasite control. This workshop is free and lunch will be provided. Please pre-register by August 25. Dr. Dayna Locitzer has over 10 years’ experience working with pasture-based livestock farms in the Northeast. She currently works as a large animal veterinarian at Green Mountain Bovine Clinic in Chesterfield, N.H. and works extensively with sheep and goat operations for the betterment for their herd health and welfare.
