"SHE" shell Trinket Dish

Karen Hillman is a mixed media artist and award-winning photographer. She describes her work as “Vintage Finery” as her art pieces encompass using forgotten items from eras of the past, and reinventing them into extraordinary treasures. Her style is romantic and ethereal and some of her favorite works are her angels, fairies, and one-of-a-kind religious pieces. Karen’s art studio is located within her charming storybook home located in Frederick, Maryland. Fondly called, “The Cozy Castle”,  she hosts her unique classes and retreats at The Cozy Castle, around the country and abroad.

We will start with a large white 6x6 inch clam shell and turn it into a gorgeous footed trinket dish.

The Cozy Castle

<p>This is an amazing piece to make for yourself or to give as a gift! There  will be bling, crystals, pearls and transfers to choose from to design your shell dish, but feel free to bring along any other pieces of your own you might like to add. This workshop includes lunch which will be a Summer Shrimp Citrus field greens salad and Summer Sangria.  (if you do not wish for seafood, the other option will be a summer chicken salad sandwich). You will be contacted close to the event to confirm your choice.  Don’t miss out on creating this gorgeous “SHE” shell!</p>
