Sport Oregon’s mission is to drive economic growth and enhance Oregon’s quality of life through sports.  Previously known as the Oregon Sports Authority, our non-profit organization has served as the state’s sports economic development arm for more than two decades, injecting more than $350 million into Oregon’s economy through sports tourism.

<h3>SHE FLIES National Girls and Women in Sports Day Panel</h3>Join us as we bring together speakers of different ages, sports, and levels to compare and contrast how their experiences got them to where they are today. The SHE FLIES NGWSD Launch panel will celebrate these amazing athletes and advocates, but also engage in some real and honest conversations about pressures and challenges faced along the way, and why they have ultimately stuck with it and have chosen to make sport such a big part of their lives.This will be a live virtual event on zoom. Details to watch will be sent after registration in the days leading up to the event. About National Girls and Women in Sport DayNational Girls and Women in Sports Day inspires girls and women to play, be active, and realize their full power. The confidence, strength and character gained through sports participation are the very tools girls and women need to become strong leaders in sports and life. A vibrant movement we celebrate annually, NGWSD honors the achievements of girls and women in sports and continues to Lead Her Forward by acknowledging the power of sports to unlock her limitless potential.
