<h1>She Codes · Online Camp</h1><h3>WED JULY 22 - FRI JULY 24 · 9 AM - 11 AM · 3-DAY ONLINE CAMP</h3>Grades 4 - 7 · Create, collaborate, code! Throughout this online camp young coders will learn to use core computer coding concepts, and will be supported by each other and experienced coding mentors in the creation of their individual projects. We value diversity and we welcome girls, non-binary, and transgender kids of any identity and any background to participate. Participants will receive information on how to join us online in the days leading up to the camp.This program was originally scheduled to be held in-person, but because of the current state of COVID-19 cases in Spokane the camp will be moved online. Please contact Melissa at melissa@spark-central.org if you will have any issues participating because of technology needs. Registration is free thanks to generous community support!- - COVID-19 &amp; SPARK CENTRAL SUMMER CAMPS:Following Governor Inslee’s order, our station has been closed to the public until Spokane moves to Phase 3 to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Due to the current concerns around COVID-19, Spark Central will be taking certain measures to ensure that the youth programming we are able to offer prioritizes the safety and wellness of our community and participants. All summer youth camps will be offered at half-capacity, with no more than 8-12 youth registered for each camp. Each of our summer camps is planned to be held in-person following social distancing and safety guidelines. These include frequent sanitation of our space and supplies, socially-distanced activities, and providing youth, volunteers, and staff with personal protective equipment in the form of masks, and gloves when necessary. Each day when youth, volunteers, and staff arrive we will also be screening for symptoms and using a contactless thermometer to check temperatures. If Spokane does not move to Phase 3 before a camp occurs, some of our camps may be cancelled or moved to online delivery via the online meeting platform Zoom. Should that happen, we will be in touch with you ASAP. We appreciate your continued support and flexibility, and encourage you to join our many online programs.
