Shattered

Shattered

By Caveat

Overview

A dark (dark) comedy solo show about resilience and trauma recovery - told through 35+ characters.

What if voices in our mind could talk? What would they say about our relationships - the good, the bad, and the ugly…really ugly?

All her life, Diana hasn't hit it off with the fellas. In third grade she accidentally kicked her crush in the crotch and her pursuit of love didn't really improve from there.

What starts with Diana asking herself ‘Why don’t I date much?’ becomes a shocking and satirical solo show journey exploring past experiences that shaped her views of sex, dating and relationships.

Through narration, flashback and character personification, Diana delivers a powerhouse performance - opening up nuanced conversations around mental health and healing, sexual agency and assault, the power of Shame and much more.

Using comedy to navigate tragedy, Shattered ultimately tells the tale of one individual picking up the broken pieces of herself and learning to live again.

Runtime: 65min.
Content Warning: Contains scenes of potentially distressing themes. Strong Language/Swearing, 16+ age restriction advised.
