Are you ready to share your story?

Event Location: Oakland

Date: May 30th

Description: SHATTERED is a hybrid documentary-experimental anthology of shorts that investigates seven Black female stereotypes and seven women who have overcome them. Each short takes place in a different city (Oakland, Chicago, Paris, New York, Philadelphia, Montgomery, Detroit) and focuses on one stereotype affecting Black women.

The Oakland segment takes place May 30.

We are currently inviting local Oakland/SF/Bay Area Black Women, who would like to share their voices and experiences to participate in a small group discussion around black female stereotypes. This small group will be limited to less than 30 women.

Food and refreshments will be provided. Participants may be compensated. Thank you for joining this conversation.
