For 25 years, an interdisciplinary team of scientists has been studying white sharks and their interactions with sea lions, elephant seals, and harbor seals throughout the Monterey Bay and Farallon National Marine Sanctuaries. Now, researchers are taking their work to the next level with cutting-edge tools, including electronic tags, genomics, environmental DNA, drones, and advanced oceanographic and ecological models, to reveal where these animals go, how they interact, and how they survive in a changing ocean.
