Overview

The Shared Tables Program gathers neighbors from across our city around a common table. We share more than food—we learn about each other.

Shared Tables bring neighbors from every corner of San Antonio together to share a meal and talk about the issues that shape all our lives. We share more than food—we learn about each other and the complex realities that shape our city. It’s a chance to slow down, listen, and learn what life is like for all our neighbors across neighborhoods and backgrounds. Our hope is that these conversations help us build trust, deepen understanding, and imagine a San Antonio where every neighbor can thrive.

Shared Table | The Walkout

Join us to learn about the history of public school education in San Antonio and reflect on how education has shaped and continues to shape opportunity in our city. We’ll look back at how Edgewood students and their families changed how public schools are funded in Texas and discuss what their story means for our schools and families today.
