About San Diego START:
San Diego START is committed to improving the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families by providing person-centered, evidence-informed support services. Our CET meetings offer a platform for education, networking, and community collaboration.

Organized by

One aspect of what START provides is consultation, education, and technical assistance to community partners and organizations to help build capacity in the network to better support people with complex needs.

Clinical Education Teams (CETs) are learning forums for START teams and community partners to learn together in the context of an active case. CETs are learning forums, not case consultations, and individuals, family members and/or guardians do not attend. However, a review of recommendations with individuals and families occurs as follow up.
