Shared Mobility: Advancing New Options

Forth is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing equitable access to electric transportation. Our mission is to electrify transportation by bringing people together to create solutions that reduce pollution and barriers to access. We believe that centering the needs of those with the greatest barriers produces better outcomes for all.

As transportation options continue to evolve, not owning a car is becoming easier with the rise of shared mobility. You can rent a car, a bike or even a scooter, or alternatively, jump in a ride-share vehicle. Some companies, like <A HREF="https://reachnow.com/en/portland-or/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ReachNow</A>, are including electric vehicles in their fleets and increasing access to clean transportation. Our guest speakers will discuss this growing sector and how it is impacting transportation in large cities like Seattle.

Lime is the only shared mobility company that has deployed a multimodal fleet that includes pedal bikes, electric bikes, and electric scooters. Isaac manages the Seattle market for Lime and supports other markets in the Pacific Northwest, such as Portland. Before Lime, Isaac worked for a venture capital firm called Capria and for President Clinton's Foundation in Africa and the US. Isaac received his MBA from London Business School and his BS in psychology with Honors from Brown University

He has more than 15 years of project/product management and marketing experience, with senior leadership, marketing, and business development roles at ReachNow (BMW), Shorepower, Evo, Equifax, and Doxus. He is passionate about finding smarter and safer ways for people to move around their world, particularly with shared, electric mobility. Most recently he managed the launch and growth of ReachNow, the free-floating car share service from BMW. Previously he managed the national roll-out of transportation electrification services and infrastructure for cars and trucks at Shorepower. Alan holds a degree in marketing and entrepreneurial studies from Babson College in Massachusetts, where he graduated with honors. Alan resides in Oregon with his wife and two sons and enjoys golf, running, hiking, biking and Oregon food and wine.
 
Registration is $15.00 for Forth members and $25 for the general public. Season pass tickets now available $25 for Forth members and $50 for the general public. Registration includes hors d'oeuvres, and local wine and beer.

About Forth’s Networking Events Our monthly networking events highlight emerging topics in the electric, shared and smart mobility space. Held in both Seattle and Portland, these events include one to two guest speakers, a hosted happy hour and are attended by representatives of utilities, charging station firms, local government agencies, startups and other NGOs.
