Shamanic Breathwork: Guided

Shamanic Breathwork: Guided

Overview

In this workshop, you will use the breath to journey to meet your spirit guides!

Shamanic Breathwork: Guided

Whether you call them guides, angels, protectors, spirit animals, or internal guidance system, many people have felt, or longed to feel the presence of a guide that can help them navigate life or decisions. If you are alive, you have one or more! For many thousands of years, humans have been using altered states of conscousness to connect with these guides. Shamanic Breathwork takes you into such a state. There you can show gratitude for, connect with, and learn from your guide.

Maybe you have yet to meet your guides. Or maybe you have journeyed to and with them many times before. Either way, this can still be an opportunity to find out what they have to share with you. In my experince, I won't know unless I ask them. There is now way to know what this experince will look like for you, but after facilitating or supporting over 450 Shamanic Breathwork journeys, they were all guiding the journeyer towards wholeness in some way.

We will also be working with reciprocity for our guides. We will take something to them to show our gratitude for all that they have done for us, known and unknown.

Through the breath and chakra-attuned music, you'll journey to your guides. This form of breathwork, when done in a safe and protective container, takes you into an altered state where you can access your inner guidance and your innate healing mechanisms. We will share intentions, teach the breathing technique, "breathe until we are surprised", and integrate our journeys through sharing our journeys and art.

Join us in breathing into this journey in safe and sacred community!

The event will include:

  • Gathering in a circle with others who want to do their inner work. The group size is typically 5-10 people breathing. A maximum of twelve seats will be available for this workshop.
  • Guidance and support from trained shamanic practitioners, Diamondheart (Jay Hoeffer) and Grounding Rock (Brian Thoman)
  • Grounding, group agreements, and container building to create a safe space for sharing.
  • Breathwork instruction and practice.
  • Laying down and moving on a mat for about 45 minutes during the breathwork while specially selected music plays and facilitators coach, encourage and, if permission is given, use bodywork to expand your experience.
  • Creating art to express your breathwork journey
  • Sharing your experience with the group, and when permission is given, receive reflection, questions, and suggestions.
  • Closing the circle with tips for aftercare and resources for continued support
  • There will be an optional vegetarian potluck following the workshop, providing a chance to ground before going back out into the world and a chance to connect with the other participants and the facilitators.

While every breathwork is different, past participant experiences have included:

  • states of love, bliss, joy and oneness
  • release of repressed, stuck, or unfelt emotions
  • moving through fear and pain
  • expansion of the heart and capacity for love and joy
  • forgiveness of self and others
  • movement of stuck energy
  • Cutting of cords/attachments
  • inner child healing

  • rediscovering your mission, passions and direction in life
  • letting go of what is holding you back from who you really are
  • relaxation and stress reduction
  • Shifting from feeling alien to feeling at home (in the body and on the planet)
  • tending to your inner garden, exploring your inner landscape
