Shamanic Breathwork: Belonging and Feeling at Home

Join us for a powerful in-person event! Immerse yourself in the transformative practice of Shamanic Breathwork and journey to renew our connect to the places within that need healing and find belonging and a feeling of being "at home" in your body and on this planet.

“You didn't come into this world. You came out of it, like a wave from the ocean. You are not a stranger here.”

― Alan W. Watts

How would it feel to be at home in yourself, in your body? How would it feel to be at home in this land, on this planet, in this galaxy? And what would that mean? Would you be more able to respond to the needs and care of your home?

Through connected breath breathing and chakra attuned music, you'll journey deep within yourself, connecting with your inner healer and releasing what holds you back. This form of breathwork, when done in a safe and protective container, takes you into an altered state where you can access your inner healer and your innate healing mechanisms. We will share intentions, teach the breathing technique, "breathe until we are surprised" and integrate our journeys through sharing our journeys and art.

The event will include:

  • Gathering in a circle with others that want to do their inner work. The group size typically 5-10 people breathing.
  • Guidance and support from trained shamanic practitioners, Diamondheart (Jay Hoeffer) and Charlotte Spring Dancer (Jen McLeod)
  • Grounding, group agreements and container building in order to create a safe space for sharing .
  • Breathwork instruction and practice.
  • Laying down and/or moving on a mat for about one hour during the breathwork while specially selected music plays and facilitators coach, encourage and, if permission is given, use body work to expand your experience
  • Creating art to express your breathwork journey
  • Sharing your experience with the group, and when permission is given, receive reflection, questions and suggestions
  • Closing the circle with tips for after care and resources for continued support

While every breathwork is different, past participant experiences have included:

  • Re-experiencing birth or experiencing a rebirth
  • Catharsis, release of stuck emotions, limiting beliefs and/or blocked energy
  • closure on past events/relationships
  • Feelings of deep peace and/or relaxation
  • A better understanding of them self and their inner landscape
  • Ancestral healing and/or connection
  • Receiving guidance/ insight/wisdom
  • The return of lost parts of them self
  • Inner child healing and connection
  • forgiveness of self and others
  • Contact with and support from guides/teachers
