About this event

  • 1 hour

"My yard is too shady to grow anything", "I have too many trees to have a garden"; does this sound familiar? Contrary to popular belief, it is not impossible to grow plants in the shade but it is difficult without the right knowledge. We will discuss plant selections, soil moisture, and other considerations when gardening in shade.

The class and demonstration will be held Thursday, September 5th from 6:30p.m to 7:30pm at The Graham Public Library: 211 S Main St, Graham, NC 27253. Taught by NC Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteers of Alamance County.

The class is free but registration is required.
