Come join us for a fun and exciting speed dating event at Lake Chabot Regional Park in Castro Valley, CA! Meet other singles, mix and mingle in a relaxed and casual setting, have some BBQ and drinks for lunch (included!), play some games and socialize with other cool singles just like you!

Whether you're looking for friendship or romance, this event is perfect for anyone ready to meet new faces and have a great time.

The Speed Dating Groups

*Straight- Ages 25-40

*Straight- Ages 35-50

*Straight- Ages 45-60

1:00PM- Check in. BBQ Lunch and Drink Provided. Open Social Time, Ice Breaker Game

2:00PM- Speed Dating Session 1

3:00PM- Game Time

4:00PM- Speed Dating Session 2

5:00PM- Official Event Ends. Feel free to stay and socialize as long as you want!

How the Speed Dating Sessions WIll Work

*During the speed dating sessions, the women will be given a station and the men will be asked to rotate, sitting with each woman in their age group for 3-5 minutes each. We will provide question cards at each table. It is up to you if you want to use them. They are very helpful at creating enagaging conversations.

*You will be given a form to fill out thorughout the experience. This is where you will write down the names of attendees you are interested in getting to know further. At the end of the event, you will turn these in. If you and another attendee both choose each other, you will be sent their contact info via email within 48 hours (likely sooner!)

*If we do not have an even number of genders, we will provide refunds to those that go over our gender quota.

*We reserve the right to make adjustments to the groups to best serve the ages and genders of the attendees. If a particular group does not have enough attendees, it may be cancelled, in which case you will be provided a full refund.

Location Information
This will be held at Lake Chabot Regional Park at their Cove Picnic Area. You can pay $5 for parking or park for free outside the park. This picnic site is mostly sunny during the day. It is located across from a large lawn area and across from outdoor gym equipment. It is the closest site to the Marina and Concession, with flush toilets 50 yards away. Parking is 200 yards away. Lawn areas, volleyball courts & horseshoe pits are not reservable. Volleyball & horseshoe equipment may be rented at the Marina concession stand ($5 + $30 refundable deposit). *When you arrive, please find the check in table so you can get your food and drink ticket

*Hard alcohol and drugs are not allowed in the park

*Dogs are allowed on leash
