Sewing Machine Basics

Join Cindy Fetzer for a beginner-friendly, fast-paced 2-hour class where you'll learn how to use a sewing machine from scratch. We'll cover everything from winding a bobbin and threading the machine to basic stitches like straight stitch, zig-zag, and buttonholes.

You'll also get an overview of sewing machine parts, different seam constructions, types of presser feet, and tips on what to look for when buying your own machine.

All supplies and sewing machines are provided, but feel free to bring your own if you want. Classes max out at 12 students, so arrive 5 minutes early for check-in.
