This 2 hour, hands-on workshop guides you through the fundamentals of using a sewing machine. During the class, you'll be introduced to various tools and techniques, including machine operation and troubleshooting, cutting skills, basic pattern use, and construction techniques.

No prior experience needed. Walk away with the knowledge to take on future projects.

We provide:

  • Sewing machines and materials.
  • Light snacks and hot and cold beverages.

Skills you will leave with:

  • Threading a sewing machine
  • Winding a bobbin
  • Changing a needle
  • Lockstitch sewing
  • Using the backstitch
  • Using a variety of cutting tools
