If you missed the February 20th reboot or ready to jump in more sewing class then this your chance to jump in one ofthese classes.Currently its 3 classes availble starting September 4thADULT BEGINNERS SEW SATURDAYS 11:30-1:30 P.M.This class is perfect for sewing beginners and people that just need a machine sewing refesher. Come learn how to <ol><li> Tread the machine and bobbin</li><li>Gain confidence in operating the machine &amp; sewing straight lines</li><li>How to adjust your machine tension</li><li> What are different sewing supplies</li><li>Take measurement</li><li>Read pattern universal symbols</li><li>Much More.....</li></ol>Week 1 September 4 - Learning the Machine......Threading etc... Stitthching practice at the end of classWeek 2 September 11- Measurements....Learning about reading and using patterns..... You will put what you learn to the test by ending class by making a decorative facial mask. (PERFECT FOR THE TIMES BECAUSE WE CAN&#x27;T HAVE TO MANY OF THEM .......... 2020 NEW ACCESSORY)Week 3-5 Putting Our skills to work - everyone would be constructing a garment by using a simple commerical pattern (this can be anything you want to make)ADULT INTERMEDIDATE CLASS 2-3:30P.M.9OMINUTES Start September 4- Sewing Review....Access what you know &amp; what you need to know....Simiple Mask making project just to sew something after reviewsupplies: elastic and a quarter of fabricSeptember 11th Notions (sewing zippers, button, snaps, eyelets etc.) Learning and making sample swatches to show how to install notionLearning how to use different sewing machine foots Supplies: Zippers (closed, invisible, and separating), Fabric about a 1/2 to yard to cut up to use as samples, button, eyelet ( preferrably the eyelet pliers or hammering kit), hand sewing needleSeptember 25th- Drafting 101- Learning how to draft your own pattern. For this class we going to draft our own pencil skirtsupplies: pattern making paper( I used poster boards or large parchment paper because it easy to find and cheaper), rules (t-shape, and a curve ruler is recommended), fabric 1/2 yard, invisible zipper 12in would be be perfectKIDS SEWING CLASS 4-6p.m.learn everything the adults learn but we do project base classesSeptember 4th- Building Sewing Skills...machine operation bases and a stitching exerciseSeptember 11th- Back to School Celebration- Learning patterns... making a simple pencil pouch with zipperSeptember 25th- T-shirt fun day - Learn how to make a simple cute shirt Need 1/2-1 yard of fabric preferrably strechyOctober 4th- Hair accessory day- lets make some bows, scrunchies, and headbandselastic (dollar stores have the best elatic kit because its all sizes you need for class and it only a dollar) Fabric is needed but its up to you on whatever style you want one yard is enough for everythingAll classes recommend everyone to have a basic sewing and if you need machine please notify me before class to reserve machineLocation: 3815 W.
