In Collaboration with RAAC, The Miami University Department Of Educational Psychology Presents The Annual Spring EDP Colliquium

This virtual session will focus on:<ul><li>Review the principles of the functions of behavior and link to behavioral intervention plans</li><li>Learn specific and practical interventions for aggression, self-injury, disruptive behavior, elopement, and sexual behaviors</li><li>Enhance strategies for teaming and collaborative problem solving when supporting people who exhibit severe behavior</li></ul>All roles are welcome, professionals, caregivers, and students. <h3>Speaker Bio</h3>Rena J. Sorensen, PhD, is a Psychologist in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and Behavior Medicine and Clinical Psychology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. She specializes in the behavioral assessment and treatment of persons with developmental disabilities and severe behavior disorders and has developed several collaborative treatment programs including community consultation to school programs, intensive outpatient behavior treatment, acute inpatient psychiatric stabilization, and high risk behavioral care during medical admissions.

Or you may change the name of the attendee if you prefer.Will Continuing Education Units (CEUs) be offered?A Certificate of Attendance will be available for all attendees for each day of the event. Specific discipline CEUs have been requested, but are not guaranteed. Are there scholarship opportunities?Yes, RAAC hopes that as many people as possible take advantage of this learning opportunity.
