About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

These bike maintenance sessions will cover three main topic areas-punctures, brakes and gears. There will be two sessions available for each topic (two for punctures, two for brakes and two for gears). Hopefully if you can't make one, you can make the other!

The dates for each session are as follows:

Sunday 12th May & Sunday 9th June- Punctures

Sunday 19th May & Sunday 16th June - Brakes

Sunday 2nd June & Sunday 23rd June - Gears

Please bring your own bike if you can, otherwise buddy up with another participant or a demo bike will be available to work on. It is beneficial however to bring your own bike if you can, so you feel more comfortable fixing your own bike when out and about, and get used to how it works.

NB: Please note we will NOT be covering e-bikes or anything electronic in these sessions, or covering drum brakes, hub brakes; sadly nothing too retro-apologies.

Please sign up if you feel this might be useful for you, or if you would like to consolidate your knowledge. There is no cost attached to the sessions and each one is free of charge.

Event Information:

-Each session will be taught and supported by members of the cycling club.

-The venue has toilets, free parking is available at the sports centre carpark and refreshments will be available.

-Please let the organiser know 24 hours in advance if you can no longer make the session. There must be at least two particpants to make the session viable.

Thankyou and see you there!
