Choosing & Implementing Green Stormwater Practices

This workshop is the third session in a three-part training series focused on ecological landscaping and green infrastructure solutions that support clean water and resilient communities.

Participants will explore how to select, plan, and implement green stormwater management practices for sites beyond the basic residential scale, including municipal, institutional, and commercial landscapes. Topics will include site assessment, selecting appropriate Best Management Practices (BMPs) for stormwater capture, key design and installation considerations, and long-term maintenance needs, with practical insights from real-world projects. This session is designed for landscapers, municipal public works staff, developers and homeowners interested in expanding their understanding of stormwater management solutions.
