What better way to take a load off this summer than to spend the day in the AC listening to stories, educating ourselves, and having a good time. This is not your average food safety training!
Our local food and beverage communities have gone through so much in the last five years. This is an excellent opportunity to come together and enjoy the day talking about where we currently are, where we would like to be, and the roadmap to getting there.
The instructor, Laura Finley is first and foremost a seasoned food and beverage professional similar to many of her students, but she is also a leader in our local food and beverage communities. Her and her husband, Zac Finley have helped over 2,500 individuals in the States of Montana & Idaho obtain their Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certifications and they are also taking the next step with many local businesses in creating the necessary Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans that the current climate necessitates. Visit our website at www.FinleyFBconsulting.com/haccp to see how we can take your HACCP projects off your hands.
This CFPM Training & Exam meets the state requirement that mandates every retail food establishment has at least one person on staff who has their current CFPM certification. Certifications are recognized nationally and are valid for five years.
We see time and time again that the more staff members who have their CFPM certifications, the better the result. If you are able to send more than one staff member, we highly encourage doing so.
It is so hard in food and beverage to find a tangible way to give back to your employees. This training is the perfect opportunity to invest in your employees while also investing in your establishment. That same appreciation ties directly into better retention rates. It is a win, win for everyone.
And most of all, it is a good time! :)

Frequently asked questions
All sales are final when you sign up for one of our trainings. We do not offer refunds or transfers on classes. If you are unable to make the training that you signed up for we do allow you to send someone else in your place. Contact us as soon as you know that a change needs to be made.
Online trainings require self motivation, which can be difficult given or overly stressed lifestyles. Sitting down for one solid day with us, oftentimes takes up significantly less time than the online trainings that people initially think are the easier softer way.
The biggest difference between the two trainings is the 90 question exam that is administered at the end of the 8-hour CFPM training. The exam that is administered at the end of the 8-hour training is an ANSI-accredited, nationally recognized exam that meets the CFPM requirement in most states.
Some states do require all employees to have the Food Handler's Certification. This is not required in the either of the states we teach classes in, which are Montana and Idaho. The only requirement is to have one CFPM on staff.
