About this event

What are office hours with Maggie all about? I didn't always enjoy practicing yoga on my own. I only wanted to attend classes in a studio, or else I wouldn't get on the mat at all. But once I started to learn more about human anatomy, and how to make various shapes and transitions work for me as an individual, rather than trying to fit into what I thought a pose "should" look like, I started to enjoy a home practice. But even if you never want to start up a home practice, you might have questions like, "what does that cue my teacher always says even mean, anyway?" or "I don't know why warrior 1 is so hard for me, what can I do to feel more success in this shape?" or even, "what's a modification for chaturanga?"

Who are office hours for? The easy answer is everyone! But really, if you have questions about your practice, I'm opening up an hour the first Thursday of every month for you to come with questions, or just pop in to tune in for what questions others ask. Whether you're a teacher yourself, a well seasoned practitioner, or new to yoga altogether, this 60-minute mini collaborative workshop is for you!

How do they work? The first Thursday of every month, you are invited to attend office hours from 5 - 6 pm CST via Zoom. Register for the session via a free Eventbrite ticket (like this one) anytime during the month, and you'll be sent the link to the virtual workshop session 30 minutes before the workshop begins (at 4:30 pm CST).

And remember, this is your time! If you have questions of your own, send me an email in this contact form with the subject line "Office Hours request." I want this to be a time to ask the questions you don't get to ask during led classes, so I'll always prioritize your requests!
