As local governments in Washington, port districts have many points of interface with federal issues related to their line of business, including transportation, infrastructure, waterways, agriculture and more. The pandemic has added an additional layer of complexity to ports' nexus with the federal government through stimulus legislation.
We are excited to have Washington Congressmen Rick Larsen and Daniel Newhouse at this Tuesday's Roundtable to address federal issues that matter to ports.
Richard Larsen is the United States Representative from Washington's 2nd congressional district and a member of the Democratic Party.
Daniel Newhouse is the Representative for Washington's 4th congressional district and agricultural scientist from Washington and a member of the Republican Party.
