Join us for a vibrant, inclusive, and exciting event that brings together people of all ages and abilities. Smithfield Special Education Local Advisory Committee 3rd Annual Color Run SOS Lincoln will be hosting a table on the route to hand out flyers and swag. Come out and join!

We host several sensory-friendly events for the public every year. We never do fundraisers or ask families to pay to attend any of our events. We never do it to make money.


We simply do it for the Awesome kids in our community.

The primary purpose of hosting autism events is to create a safe and inclusive space for children with autism. These events aim to provide a judgement-free environment where individuals on the autism spectrum and their families can feel accepted, understood, and supported.

As a secondary purpose, we aim to raise awareness, promote inclusivity, and encourage the broader community to embrace and support individuals with autism and their families

Thirdly, these events are not just for the kids… By organizing autism events, we strive to foster a sense of belonging and alleviate the discomfort that parents may experience in public settings. We hope to give parents the ability to ENJOY taking their children out to have fun. We hope to improve the “parent experience”.
