About this event

  • 3 hours

Does your family have a Plan B?

Plan B for Mom and Dad could be modifying the home, moving in with other family members or having a caregiver move in with them. A tour of a senior community can help you better understand your options. Doing the research before a crises is imperative.

Embark on a journey of discovery with the "Senior Living Safari," a guided bus tour designed for seniors and their families to explore a variety of senior living communities. This unique group tour provides a supportive and informative environment where you can learn about different senior living options alongside others who are facing similar decisions.

Benefits of a Group Setting:

  • Shared Experience: Touring with a group allows participants to share the experience with others who understand the emotional and practical aspects of choosing a senior living community. This shared journey fosters a sense of camaraderie and mutual support, making the process less daunting.
  • Collective Insight: Participants benefit from the group's diverse perspectives and experiences. Hearing different questions and concerns addressed can provide a broader understanding of what to look for in a community and what might be best for your own needs.
  • Emotional Support: Making decisions about senior living can be stressful and emotional. Being in a group provides a comforting buffer and the reassurance that you are not alone in this process. It offers a safe space to express concerns and navigate the complexities of transition with confidence.
  • Enhanced Learning: Group discussions with tour guides and staff at each visited community enrich the learning experience. These interactions allow for a deeper dive into the amenities, services, and care levels available, ensuring that all participants leave well-informed.
  • Safety in Numbers: Touring in a group setting also provides a practical advantage in terms of safety and ease. All logistical arrangements are handled by knowledgeable guides, allowing you to focus fully on the experience without the stress of planning and navigating.
