Self/Centered: The 2021 MA Design Research, Writing and Criticism Graduate Thesis PresentationsSelf/Centered presents the independent thesis work of the nine outstanding graduates of the class of 2021, who find common ground in their rigorous explorations of the self in relation to design, engaging subjects that span media, language, citizenship, accessibility, gender, and race. Far from selfish, to center oneself is to understand that in the liminal space between “me” and “we,” exists a spectrum of clashing and complementing identities.
