Module 1 Violence Prevention. This 4 hour course covers how to develop a mindset, toolset and skillset of personal protection and safety on the job. Topics include preventative measures, de-escalation, applied risk management, communication skills and more. This course is specifically designed for health and human services, social workers, in home care nurses, those who provide services to the public in this realm and all related fields. There are no pre-requisites to take this course.
