Self Love Series

Course Description: Single ticket covers 4 Saturdays

Together, we will create vibrant connection with fellow participants as we explore

somatic movement, breath, and sensory practices to support relaxation and optimal

biomechanical function. We’ll work with interactive, experiential tools and practices

toward empowered well-being.


The Self Love Series is designed to be a progressive, 4 month course. However, students

are welcome to join the Self Love Series practice for month specific commitments.

Please note: classes are not offered as weekly individual, stand alone classes.

Participants will explore the Rhomboids, Trapezius and Latissimus Dorsi muscles

by:

 developing muscle awareness and activation

 learning about the roles of the muscles and how they work together

 working with daily movement and breath techniques to support optimal

function

Course Description: * 4 people minimum for course to run - 6 maximum

February: Self Love ~ Regulating the Nervous System

February 3 rd , 10 th , 17 th , 24 th

Participants will explore Nervous System Regulation, based on foundational

teachings rooted in Yogic and Ayurvedic philosophy. Students will work with

diaphragmatic breathing, somatic movement, wake and sleep hygiene, self

reflection, and intentional rest interventions that may be incorporated into daily

practices, toward establishing new self care routines for 2024.

March: Self Love ~ Functional Movement: Glutes & Quadratus Lumborum

March 2 nd , 9 th , 16 th , 23 rd

Participants will explore the Glute and Quadratus Lumborum muscles by:

 developing muscle awareness and activation

 learning about the roles of the muscles and how they work together

 working with daily movement and breath techniques to support optimal

function

May: Self Love ~ Functional Movement: Putting It All Together! Transverse

Abdominals

May 4 th , 11 th , 18 th , 25 th

Participants will explore the Transverse Abdominal muscles and the way they work

with muscles covered in previous months by:

 developing muscle awareness and activation

 learning about the roles of the muscles and how they work together

 working with daily movement and breath techniques utilizing glutes,

quadratus lumborum, rhomboids, trapezius, latissimus dorsi, and transverse

abdominal muscles to support optimal function of the body’s core
