Is swiping on dating apps leaving your thumb sore, your energy drained, and your desire for in-person connection unfulfilled? Evolutionary Psychotherapy & Holistic Healing will be hosting a monthly embodied connection experience to authentically relate to those around you, explore relationships and human connection, practice vulnerability, and deepen the understanding of self. The event will embrace themes that center on getting in touch with your authentic self in order to have the most meaningful and successful relationships possible. Within this space there will be opportunities to workshop new ideas, share experiences related to dating, develop interpersonal skills, explore mindful and playful movement, release stress, and expand the depths of your relationships. This monthly offering is open to all adults 18 years old and beyond.

This month's event will be facilitated by Bri Cordi & Esther Mae Rosner.

About the facilitators:

Bri Cordi (she/her) is a Mental Health Counselor, who recently graduated with her masters degree from SUNY New Paltz. She believes in holding space for clients through self exploration, expansion, and navigation. For Bri, effective therapy guides the individual into a state of full feeling and expression, fostering individuality, self-worth, connection and relationship, and creative expression.

Bri believes that holistic wellness includes integration of physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual realms and experiences. She approaches practice from an integrative holistic approach, introducing elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Somatic Processing, and Creative Interventions into a Person Centered, Humanistic approach. Bri is influenced by her training in Reiki energy healing, Meditation, and Tarot as well as a background in music and sound healing.

Bri has experience working with individuals in end of life care, and has a passion for working with adolescents, young adults, couples, adults, and older adults. Her areas of focus include disordered eating, end of life care, anxiety, mindfulness, grief, and life transitions. Bri aims to foster an environment that feels safe for total self expression and exploration.

Bri honors the experiences of individuals navigating their souls’ journeys. Prior to embodying this calling, Bri earned a bachelor's degree in Sound Recording Technology from SUNY Fredonia and worked as an audio engineer for music and television.

Esther Mae Rosner was drawn to social work by her fascination of how our thoughts and emotions are shaped by our experiences on individual and community levels and has dedicated over a decade to working in harm reduction and substance use treatment. The alchemical process through which we can heal each other by holding space for the parts of ourselves that feel vulnerable and broken with compassion, and even reverence, for the experiences that shape us is what captivates her about holistic healing. Facilitating spaces where we feel grounded and safe to let our story unfold with the spirit of exploration, and even laughter in the moments we reach levity with our heaviest feelings, is the song of the work that calls her home. Esther Mae is influenced most by meditation and mindfulness practices, somatic experiential therapy, cathartic expression through fine arts, and spirit-led plant medicine work.
