What to Expect:

This seminar is designed to teach basic self-defense techniques to add to your toolkit for personal safety. Incorporating practices of martial arts, this is a hands-on workshop designed to familiarize participants with basic striking techniques for the purpose of self-defense.

Attendees should wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing for ease of movement.

Open to all women and gender minorities.

About the Facilitator:

Constance An Sensei has over 24 years as a martial arts instructor. She has led womens self-defense seminars since 2014 and is passionate about sharing the art with others. Prior to teaching martial arts, Constance was a personal trainer and group spin instructor for four years. She is an engineer by trade, and an instructor at the Okinawan Karate Club, while also raising her two children.

Location Details:

This event will be held at the the Dallas Public Library in downtown Dallas on the sixth floor. There is a dedicated parking lot with free parking below the library.
