About this event
- 2 hours
Join Joyfully Black and Civically, Inc. for an inspirational gathering dedicated to celebrating the essence of living fully, financial empowerment, and mental wellness. This inaugural self-care salon is not just an event; it's a movement towards embracing the power of self-care and financial independence, tailored specifically for women in the community and shining a light on the experiences of Black and women of color. We believe in creating spaces where conversations can flourish, wisdom can be shared, and joy can be freely expressed.
Why A Salon?
A salon is a gathering of friends and friends of friends within safe, intimate spaces. Mostly, a salon is good times with humans coming together for conversation and to eat, drink, talk and listen with good vibes. They were big in the 1700’s in Paris, again in the 1800’s and then once more in 1920’s. Now they’re back - and we're putting a modern, self-care twist on them, while inviting you to participate!
