About this event

  • 3 days 8 hours

Learn professional and ethical Recovery Coaching, Sober Companion, and Sober Escort skills from trainers who have a combined 30+ years of actual hands-on experience offering recovery support to clients across the globe. SEI has embraced the Recovery Coach Academy (RCA) and the Recovery Coach Professional (RCP) designation as the gold standard in professional development. We are proud to facilitate their nationally acclaimed training.

During the four days, you will explore many facets of recovery as you discover how to harness the power of support in yourself and others to achieve greater outcomes for individuals and their families. This unique training will cover the entire 28 Continuing Education Units (CEU's) at CCAR Academy while weaving through many real-world professional methods used by SEI over the past 17+ years. The merging of these two programs will surely offer a training experience unlike any other as it trains you for the trenches.

Our training is geared toward recovery support professionals, yet we invite anyone interested in empowering themselves and others to understand and remove barriers to recovery.

"Professional, dependable & uniquely qualified."

I am a professional interventionist and therapeutic consultant who works with individuals & families that are suffering with substance use disorders, mental health issues & a variety of other problems. I have used Sober Escorts (SEI) for years & have also utilized their longer term sober coaching services to support someone in daily life & teach them the skills necessary for recovery. They are always professional, dependable & uniquely qualified to help families struggling with these issues & needing direction & support in a time of crisis. They truly care about the families they serve & they always go out of their way to make sure families get the highest level of service...I do not hesitate to refer my families to them for support as the feedback I get is always positive & my clients are happy with how their loved ones are taken care of by the professionals at SEI.

"The training was a powerful experience for me."

I went into the week hoping to learn some tools of the trade; I wanted tips and tricks on how to be a more effective coach and companion. I got them…but they ended up being the least valuable part of the week. The most valuable part was the people I spent time with. Between the facilitators and the other people doing the training, there were decades of experience in the room.

- Keely C.

"Thank you for an incredible week of training."

Well worth the time from an educational perspective, and meeting the whole team was invaluable. The best part was hearing each of you share your personal experiences as we went through the modules. Thank you for organizing this training. The responsiveness and attention to detail from everyone at Sober Escorts has been outstanding."

- Cathy C.

"Wanted to give a shout out to our friends over at Sober Escorts, Inc. Our friend, Rick, started it with this belief in mind: if people leaving treatment just had someone with them for the first days or weeks, someone that's firmly grounded in their own recovery, then those people would stand a much better chance staying sober."
