Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation

SeedCon is an annual conference cohosted by Chicago Booth’s Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital (EVC) student group and the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The event aims to educate and inspire students and professionals about entrepreneurship and venture capital, and discuss emerging trends and the next wave of technology. SeedCon is designed to bring together successful entrepreneurs and seasoned venture capitalists to share ideas and advice, foster creativity, and ignite the entrepreneurial-spirit within. The one day event is made up of keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, and fireside chats with leading members of the entrepreneurial community. SeedCon explores topics related to all stages of entrepreneurship from startup incubating, raising a seed round, scaling the business, and successfully exiting. The annual event attracts 250+ members of the Chicago Booth community, Chicago startup ecosystem, and entrepreneurs from around the country. Past speakers have included Uptake CEO, Brad Keywell; Morningstar founder and CEO, Joe Mansueto; Cofounder and CEO of CommonBond, David Klein; and Bailey Moore, Head of Wintrust Ventures.
