Tina is the Owner and Edible Garden Consultant at Elevated Gardening in Flagstaff, AZ. She's a certified Coconino Master Gardener with a Master's degree in Environmental Studies. She hosts workshops on high altitude gardening, vegetable gardens, insects, seed saving, and much more. She loves collaborating with local businesses and sharing her garden knowledge!

Want to learn how to start seeds, but don&#x27;t know where to start? Come learn the basics to help you start food AND flower seeds at high elevation. Patti Poulin, flower farmer and owner of Dirty Boot Farm will show you the ins and outs of starting flower seeds. Tina Gustafson, Northern Arizona Master Gardener and owner of Elevated Gardening will teach you all about edible garden seeds. You&#x27;ll learn different seed starting techniques, soil, light, moisture, and prepping your plants for the great outdoors. PLUS--you&#x27;ll be right on site at the Dirty Boot Farm! Come learn with us! UPDATE: After careful consideration of the upcoming weather, Patti and I have decided to move the Seed Starting Workshop to Zoom for this Saturday March 5 at 1 PM. For timing purposes on starting your seeds, we wanted to get the information to you as soon as possible, while also considering safety and the feasibility of still having the workshop on the farm. With that being said, there are TWO great things to come from this: 1) Since it will be on Zoom, it will be recorded and you can access the workshop in the future. That means if you couldn&#x27;t make it, you can still register and get the recorded workshop (along with an awesome workbook we&#x27;re creating)!2) We would still like to offer an on-the-farm tour included in your ticket price, rescheduled for a warmer day. Please plan for Saturday, April 9th at 1 PM for a short tour at Dirty Boot Farm!
