Learn the ancestral and resilient practice of heirloom and organic seed preservation in a workshop led by two Black women urban farmers.We will be reviewing basic botany, seed anatomy, and having a discussion around seed saving as a means of story telling for those living withing the American diaspora before diving into hands-on activities to practice saving seeds from corn, amaranth, and tomatoes.This class is offered on a free or sliding scale for BIPOC-identifying individuals who cannot afford the fee.
